【摘要】:Interiorarchitecturalpaintsareoftendiscoloredbydirtandothersoilantmaterials.Thistestmethodcoverstherelativeeaseandcompletenessofremovalofaspecificsoilantfromsuchasurfacebyscrubbing.Thegreatertheeaseofsoilremovalwithaminimumoffilmerosion,thegreatertheusefulservicelifeisexpectedtobe.Resultsobtainedbythistestmethoddonotnecessarilycorrelatewithalltypesofsoilants.Semiglossfinishesgenerallyrequireonlythenonabrasivetypecleanerforgoodsoilantremoval,whereasflatpaintsmayrequiretheabrasivetype.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftherelativeeaseofremovingsoilantdiscolorationsfromthedriedfilmofaninteriorcoatingbywashingwitheitheranabrasiveornonabrasivecleaner.1.2ThistestmethodislimitedtocoatingshavingaCIE-Yreflectanceof60%ormore,asmeasuredinaccordancewithTestMethodE1347.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
